ALABUGA GRAIN TERMINAL
IN THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN
The Grain Terminal is a specialised facility that provides consolidation and rhythmic year-round route shipments of grain cargoes from the entire Volga region and partially neighbouring regions with a capacity of up to 8 million tonnes per year. Here grain is received (from road and rail transport), processed, export consignments are formed, and grain expresses with specialised containers are sent to friendly countries in Central Asia, Middle East, the People's Republic of China, and others.
‘GRAIN+’ SARAHS HUB
WITHIN THE NORTH-SOUTH INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORT CORRIDOR
A multimodal logistics facility that ensures the receipt of Russian grain and grain cargoes from other friendly countries by all types of railway transport on the 1520 mm gauge, its storage and transshipment to road and railway transport for delivery to the markets of Central Asia, Middle East, and Africa. As well as logistics of return cargo in special containers and operations for handling of third-party containers and cargoes coming from road and railway transport to the warehouses (including customs ones) of the hub.
Alabuga Grain Terminal in partnership with Russia's largest Deng Xiaoping Logistics Complex form a single closed-cycle technology ‘Grain +’, where grain cargoes arriving to foreign markets of friendly countries in specialised containers are unloaded at the destination point, and machinery products, components and spare parts, consumer goods, and other cargoes come in the opposite direction from friendly countries.
Located at the crossroads of key corridors of Greater Eurasia, the hub becomes an important element linking the cargo flows from Russia, Central Asia, Middle East, China, India with access to the Indian Ocean, as well as Turkey and the Mediterranean Sea.
«EURASIAN AGROLOGISTICS»
SPECIALISED LOGISTICS OPERATOR
This is a traditional logistics operator, additionally developing the ‘Grain +’ logistics model. In conditions of limited railway infrastructure capacity, it offers significant competitive advantages and is cost-effective due to the use of specialised container grain carriers capable of transporting bulk cargoes in one direction and acting as regular (universal) containers in the opposite direction.
At the first stage, these are more than 50,000 container grain carriers, ready to transport about 1.5 million tonnes of grain at a time, to ensure the turnover of up to 14 million tonnes of grain cargoes per year and 10 million tonnes of other cargoes.
The company focuses on increasing goods turnover with friendly countries and makes a practical contribution to filling the international transport corridors.
Our trading and purchasing company with foreign participation supplies agricultural produce and food products to the countries of Central and South Asia, the Middle East and Africa and exports a wide range of consumer goods, foods, machinery products, components and spare parts, etc. from these countries.
